What if you met your younger self? What if you let them see the life they could only imagine?
This question sits at the heart of Pearson's new brand campaign.
Using AI, we gave Pearson graduates the chance to speak directly to their younger selves. The conversations that followed were raw and honest. Sometimes painful. Always hopeful. They reflect the doubts, detours, and decisions that shape our lives.
But what stayed with me was their courage.
Courage to keep learning when life didn't follow the expected path.
Courage to return to education later, or differently, than planned.
Courage to imagine a future that didn't yet exist – and go after it.
Jasmine's story
At 27, Jasmine and her two young children were sleeping on a slow-leaking air mattress in a shelter. They were surviving one day at a time.
In the film, Jasmine speaks to her younger self with honesty and strength: "I know you feel defeated now. But you are capable. You are worthy. Educate yourself. Keep moving forward for the sake of those girls."
Training to become a nursing assistant changed Jasmine's life. It gave her independence and pride. "Life is good now. After I got my nursing assistant training, a new woman emerged. I found my independence. I'm so, so proud of myself."

Savannah's story
Savannah reflects on teenage years marked by grief, illness, bullying, and loneliness. There came a moment when traditional school no longer felt possible.
Finding Connections Academy changed that.
It gave Savannah an online learning environment that understood her reality and kept her grades on track. It helped her stay focused on her dream of attending New York University.
She tells her 14-year-old self, "It's crazy to think about the fact you choose a school, and it totally changes the trajectory of the rest of your life. Now, I just love my life!"

Why this campaign, and why now
This is Pearson's first global brand campaign in five years. Instead of leading with products or accolades, we chose to lead with people.
We blended emerging technology with documentary-style storytelling that reflects real lives, real choices, real growth.
At a time when AI's role in education and creativity is under scrutiny, we wanted to use it in a deliberate way – as a reflective storytelling device, built around consent, authenticity, and human experience. It reflects our support for AI in augmenting human potential with learning at the core.
In these films, AI doesn't speak for these remarkable people, it simply helps them hear themselves more clearly. That belief is central to how we use AI at Pearson: as a tool to amplify – not replace – human agency by supporting learning, self-reflection, and possibility.
Jasmine and Savannah's stories are just the start. There will be many more to come.
See yourself bigger through learning
This campaign is an invitation. To pause and reflect. To think about your own younger self – with their questions, doubts, and dreams. And to imagine how learning might help you take your next step, whatever that looks like.
Learning isn't one-size-fits-all. It doesn't have a single start or finish line.
It's personal, shaped by the lives people are actually living, not the ones they're told they should be living.
Pearson helps people build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and belief to realize the lives they imagine through learning, in all the ways it shows up.
So, explore the stories. And see yourself bigger.
