The UK's International Education Strategy arrives at a moment of real consequence. Pearson welcomes its direction and shares the ambition to strengthen the UK's global role through partnership across government, providers and industry.

As global demand for international education grows, learners and institutions are increasingly focused on outcomes: workforce readiness, skills development and employability. We support the commitment to strengthening the UK's position in transnational education, and believe employability should stand alongside academic quality as a core measure of success.

International education is one of the UK's great strengths. To maintain that position, we must align education with the skills that modern workplaces demand and the expectations of a changing global student population. Pearson will play its part by working with government and partners across the sector to deliver the ambitions of the strategy and support the UK's role as a trusted global leader in education.
