Cyber Security Incident Involving PDRI

LONDON, January 30, 2025 – PDRI, a subsidiary of Pearson, which represents less than 2% of Pearson revenues, recently identified unauthorized activity on some of the systems supporting its professional services business.

PDRI's client assessment delivery platforms remain operational. Upon detection, immediate steps were taken to stop the activity. PDRI then began an investigation with assistance from a cybersecurity firm. We are also cooperating with law enforcement and are in the process of notifying customers.

The investigation of the incident is in its early stages. We are working around the clock to understand what happened and we will share additional information with customers as appropriate.

We have no indication this impacts other Pearson business services or systems.
